Terms and Conditions

1. Payments and processes

1.1 The full payment for the course must be received prior to delivery or in the case of a third party, i.e a hospital Trust, a purchase order must be received accepting liability.

1.2 Acceptable methods of payment are by BACS or cheque. The fee may be paid in three instalments but a small additional fee to cover administration will be chargeable.

1.3 Mediterm reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the course for non payment of fees. Outstanding fees not paid one month from the course commencing will be subject to this suspension.

1.4 Completion of end of module tests is a compulsory requirement of the course. Students who have not completed these cannot sit the exam.

1.6 Practice papers completion is a compulsory requirement of the course and is essential for exam preparation. All students must sit 4 practice papers prior to sitting the exam.

1.7 Resit - students failing to reach the 70% required to pass the exam will be able to resit the exam for the fee of £50. Mediterm Training will invoice the student directly for the resit fee unless otherwise stated. Students will need to establish with their employer (if relevant) if they can be reimbursed for this expense. Employers and students may wish to establish their own policy regarding this.

1.8 Any failing students will have a further 2 opportunities to pass the exam. Those failing a 3rd exam will be removed from the course. They may rejoin upon payment of full course fees to complete the course again from the beginning.

1.9 Deferring - students are able to defer their studies by placing a hold on the course delivery to indicate that they are not actively participating in the course for a defined period of time. During this period, Mediterm will not contact the student and will suspend course delivery.

1.10 All exams must be sat within 12 months of commencing the course (Level 2) or 18 months of commencing the course (Level 3). Failure to sit the exam within this timeframe will result in removal from the course. We will notify students who approach this time and remind them of these terms. Those exceeding this timeframe who still wish to complete the course and sit the exam will be required to pay the course fees in full and can start the course from the beginning. Those who do not engage with Mediterm after this timeframe will be removed from the course.

1.11 All payments to Mediterm Training must be in pounds sterling.

1.12 All prices quoted on the website are subject to change. All prices should be confirmed before placing an order. No refunds can be issued from 7 days of a course starting, unless the course is cancelled by Mediterm Training.

1.13 Organisations may 'swap' a student for another student. This can only be actioned until the time that the student has sat the revision test for module 2. Once the student has sat their revision test for module 2 their place can no longer be swapped.
