1.Payments
1.1 The full payment for the course must be received prior to delivery
or in the case of a third party, i.e a hospital Trust, a purchase order
must be received accepting liability.
1.2 Acceptable methods of payment are by BACS or cheque. The fee may be
paid in three instalments but a small additional fee to cover administration
will be chargeable.
1.3 Mediterm reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the course
for non payment of fees. Outstanding fees not paid one month from the course
commencing will be subject to this suspension.
1.4 Examination fees are paid by Mediterm 6 weeks after Level 2 commences and
10 weeks after Level 3 commences. If students need to defer studies after the
fees are paid and wish to enter an alternative exam, there will be an additional
charge of £50.00 to re-register you for the new exam date.
1.5 Completion of fortnightly module tests is a compulsory requirement of the course.
Students who have not completed the first 3 modules (Level 2) or the first 5
modules (Level 3) at point of exam registration will not be registered for the exam.
1.6 Past papers completion is a compulsory requirement of the course and is essential for
exam preparation. A minimum of 2 past papers are to be submitted by students prior to
sitting the exam. Those who do not submit these papers will be withdrawn from the
exam, this may be at short notice if the exam is imminent. Should the student
wish to sit the exam, they will need to either submit the outstanding papers or
wait for the next exam opportunity (usually 3 months) and pay the re-registration
fee of £50.00.
1.7 Resit – students failing to reach the 70% required to pass the exam will be able to
resit the exam for the re-registration fee of £50.00. Students will be offered the
opportunity to resit and must inform Mediterm Training of their intentions 8
weeks prior to an exam taking place. Mediterm Training will invoice the student
directly for the resit fee unless otherwise stated. Students will need to establish
with their employer (if relevant) if they can be reimbursed for this expense.
Employers and students may wish to establish their own policy regarding this.
1.8 Deferring – students are able to defer their studies on 2 occasions only. Any
students who require to be deferred 3 times or more will be required to pay an
administrative fee of £50.00 for each deferment.
1.9 All exams must be sat within 24 months of commencing the first course. Failure
to sit the exam within this timeframe will result in removal from the course.
An administrative fee of £50.00 will be applied to rejoin the course.
1.10 All payments to Mediterm Training must be in pounds sterling.
1.11 All prices quoted on the website are subject to change. All prices should be
confirmed before placing an order. No refunds can be issued from 7 days of a
course starting, unless the course is cancelled by Mediterm Training.
2. Intellectual Property Rights and Mediterm Training Material
2.1 The material on the website is protected by copyright.
2.2 You may use the website for personal and non-commercial purposes
only.
2.3 You acknowledge that the Mediterm website, special technology used
in connection with the
website, software, material, information, communications, text, graphics, links, audio, photos
and other data available within the website are provided by Mediterm
Training or third party providers and are the copyright works of
Mediterm Training and /or such third parties.
2.4 You may not copy, decompile, reproduce, publish, distribute, modify,
create derivative works of, rent, lease, transfer, display, transmit,
compile in a database or in any manner commercially exploit any part of
the Mediterm Training content in whole or in part unless expressly
authorised by Mediterm Training or the relevant third party owner.
2.5 You may only download and print a reasonable quantity of copies of
Mediterm Training content for non- commercial, personal or education use
only. The copies must contain any copyright or other proprietary rights
that are contained in the original source. The copies must not be
modified.
2.6 You acknowledge that Mediterm Training and/or third party providers
remain the owners of the Mediterm Training content and that you do not
acquire any intellectual property rights in the Mediterm Learning
content.
3. Accuracy of information
3.1 All material and information on the website is provided in good
faith and is believed to be accurate and current as at the date of
publication.
3.2 Mediterm Training makes no guarantee as to the usefulness of the
material and information on the website. In particular Mediterm Training
makes no guarantee as to the appropriateness of the course and no
guarantee as to the likelihood of employment which may be gained by
virtue of any training undertaken.
4. Liability
4.1 Mediterm Training’s total liability to you in contract, tort or
otherwise shall not exceed the relevant booking fee paid or payable to
Mediterm Training
5. Access
You agree and understand that Mediterm Training may prevent or restrict
your access to the website for any technical, security and any other
reasons at its absolute discretion.
6. Security
6.1 When using the World Wide Web, you are using networks , facilities
and services that are beyond the control of Mediterm Training.
6.2 You assume all risk and liability or your use of the World Wide Web
, the internet or any such third party networks, including any access to
the website through such media.
7. REFUND POLICY:
You have the right to cancel your application and receive a full refund
of the course fees within 7 days of receipt of payment. If you cancel,
we will make arrangements for the money to credited back to your
account.
