WHY STUDY WITH US?
Mediterm Training has successfully delivered medical terminology training to over 7000 learners since we were established in
2006. In 2023, we made the decision to develop our own qualification after a number of years delivering the City and
Guilds/AMSPAR qualifications. We wanted to offer flexibility, content which was relevant to clinical practice and a modern
approach to the examination process. In developing the qualification, we spoke to a range of healthcare professionals and we’re
delighted to now offer an enhanced syllabus containing information regarding common blood tests and common medical
abbreviations.
We believe this adds relevance and transfer of knowledge to the workplace.
In addition, we offer flexible start dates for our Level 2 and Level 3 courses, as well as a flexible exam date to
sit our online exam - with paper exams now a thing of the past! By embracing technology, we now use online proctoring
software to invigilate our exams remotely, bypassing the need for onsite invigilation by line managers. We only enter
learners for the exam who we believe are capable of reaching the pass mark.
We ensure learners are informed of their exam results within 10 days of sitting the exam, anyone not reaching the
70% pass mark are invited to resit the exam after completing an additional 2 past papers, previously learners would be
required to wait up to 4 months to resit the exam. We can also provide feedback to learners to highlight where marks
were lost to allow revision to focus on any weaker areas of knowledge.
